If you use your TV or monitor for a long time, green, red, blue, or violet dots may appear on the screen as shown in the picture below. This does not mean the monitor is broken. Here is a simple solution.

❓Problems occurring

As shown in the screenshot above, when the monitor usually shows green or red dots, it may be a blue dot depending on the situation because the monitor supports RGB colors.

In the past, I have seen violet dots bubbling on CRT monitors or LCD monitors. This was the case for monitors used at checkout counters in supermarkets and convenience stores.

This phenomenon occurs not because the monitor has been shocked, but because the electronic product has been used without any changes, it has been more than 6 months, or the device is old. It may occur once every 2 to 3 months.

🎯How to fix it

💠This can be resolved by unplugging the HDMI or monitor cable from either the monitor, computer, or set-top device and then plugging it back in.

💠 Since this is the first time in a long time, you may want to brush off the dust after unplugging the cable and before plugging it in.

🎯Similar problems and solutions

💠This problem is not a TV or monitor, but I recently replaced the battery of the Dyson vacuum cleaner I use at home with a genuine one, and the power indicator on the battery blinked and buzzed for about a second and then stopped working.

💠Even in this case, if you unscrew the screw that secures the battery, separate it from the main body, then insert it again and secure the screw, it will work without a problem.

This is usually due to static electricity or if the battery was not connected properly.
