👻Case 1. 「An Emergency Call」 Loots
In this mission, you can get
Lantern, Dagger for sneak kill / 🔑Ordinary Keys,
📙“Old note from sewer”, “Boiler room note”
👁️New Game
Since the game is dark overall, I play with the brightness set to 83.
Collecting all the map fragment, which are loot that you have to find during the game, will give you a special weapon. That said, it is recommended to play on the easiest Casual difficulty at first, as the game is hard and you can use weapons from previous playthroughs in New Game+.
「An Emergency Call」
To skip a cutscene, simply hold down the right mouse button.
The colleagues who are slowly walking behind…
When Sebastian comes to the door and opens it, they are already behind him.
After the cutscene, move your mouse in the following situation so that the dagger appears in the center of the screen. Then, you can grab the dagger by repeatedly pressing the space bar.
🔑Ordinary Keys
Crouch and approach the location in the screenshot on the bottom left, the checkpoint will be saved, and the executioner will move away on his own.
Get the hotspot in the yellow circled location. You will need it to exit.
🎵Music flowing out in a cruel and brutal environment
The music playing in this situation is Bach’s “Air on the G String.” It was originally a cello piece, but the music playing in the game has a high tone and feels like it was played on a violin.
Below is a video of the same song played on the YouTube channel CelloDeck.
👁️Escape #1 from the Executioner
After you get the key, go back to where you came from. And go in the direction of the screenshot on the left below. A corpse will fall and surprise you. When you get to the end, there is a door. Press the space bar to open the door.
The alarm will sound right before you go out anyway, but if you don’t crouch and go before the alarm sounds, the executioner will come running at you and you will be brutally killed, so crouch and go along the path for now~
Here, Sebastian is overly surprised and goes straight ahead unconditionally.
When you’re just walking, you have to press the spacebar in front of a door to open it, but when you’re sprinting, it opens as soon as you hit it. You can also get to the scary place in the screenshot on the right below by just continuing straight after being attacked.
As shown in the screenshot on the left below, press the space bar to open something like a sewer cover and go down. When you go down and slide, dodge to the left the first time and to the right the second time, and then you will fall into a tank full of blood.
Go up the ladder, open the door, and go out. There is nothing in the blocked area on the left. Go to the right. Refer to the screenshot below for guidance.
🎯Achievement “Every Nook and Cranny”
Collect all the collectibles in the game, such as notes, map fragments, and keys.
📙“Old note from sewer”
As shown in the screenshot below, locked areas can only be passed through after being destroyed with a gun or melee weapon.
📙“Boiler room note”
If you climb up the ladder in the area shown in the screenshot on the left below, you will find a “Boiler room note” in front of the PC.
After passing through the above door, follow the path to enter a room where you hear the sound of an executioner following you. In this room, it shows to press the SPACE key while approaching the cabinet. However, you ignore it.
If you press it, the executioner will follow you, and watching it can lead to your death. Approach the cabinet and press the CTRL key to hide inside.
The door next to the cabinet in the top left screenshot is locked, and after a while, the executioner comes in, wanders around, and breaks through.
👁️Escape #2
🅰️Plan A
Like other players do, hide behind the wall as shown in the bottom left screenshot. After the executioner looks around and walks to the opposite side, crouch and move in the direction of the arrow to pick up the glass bottle.
Then, when he is not looking your way or is moving away from you, throw the glass bottle as shown in the bottom right screenshot to distract him and escape in the direction of the red arrow. When he is swinging the chainsaw against the wall, he won’t immediately chase after you. He will come after you once he finishes swinging.
The passage marked with a red border is the escape direction.
🅱️Plan B
Without needing to throw the glass bottle, as shown in the screenshot below,
once the executioner moves into the hallway and beyond the glass window out of sight,
immediately escape in the direction of the red arrow. The outcome is the same as Plan A above.
Once you move to the position in the bottom right screenshot, you will be out of his line of sight.
👁️Escape #3
Continue along the path, and when you reach the position shown in the bottom left screenshot, an event will occur where the executioner breaks through the door and chases you. You should keep moving straight towards the elevator ahead.
If you keep moving straight, Sebastian will automatically climb over the bed blocking your way. When you reach the elevator, an event will occur, and shortly after, the game’s opening video will play.
This video cannot be skipped. The running time is 55 seconds.
👁️After Opening
This is the hospital that Sebastian and his team came to investigate at the beginning of the mission. The atmosphere feels like an earthquake, and there are no loot or collectibles inside the building. Head outside the building.
Once you go out, Officer Oscar Connelly, who was driving at the start of the mission, arrives with an ambulance and tells you to get in.
This cutscene can be skipped. However, to understand how the story progresses, you should watch because it features Leslie, a seemingly clairvoyant patient, the doctor accompanying him, rookie detective Kidman, and the final boss, Ruvik.
And another detective is missing. The world is bizarrely splitting apart, and while escaping from the city, the officer driving appears to be infected by something,
leading to the ambulance crashing and ending the chapter.

When I watch a lot of videos related to this game on YouTube, YouTube’s AI recommends a ton of videos that contain real-life horror situations.
So after watching a monster game on YouTube, I have to watch a lot of videos of a different genre to stop recommending those disgusting videos, or I have to block them all.
It’s a group called “2CELLOS”.
If you play after the intro in the beginning, you might not know it these days…
It’s a song called “Smooth Criminal” by Michael Jackson.
Have fun playing~
