💕How to skip the Intro on Steam

Below I’ll explain how to set Steam and Epic to skip the intro by entering some codes in the game’s start options.

1️⃣Click “The Evil Within > Properties” on Steam.

2️⃣Then, in the General tab of the properties that appear, drag and copy the bold text below at the very bottom, and then

+ com_skipIntroVideo 1 + com_allowconsole 1

Paste it into the blank space under the Launch options marked with a yellow square in the screenshot below.

After entering the information as above and running the game, the intro will not appear and you can run the console where you can enter cheat keys within the game.

I’ve also checked with other games I have on Epic,

but when you go to Library > Options menu for your game > Manage, scroll down to Launch Options,

🛠️Console Execution

When you press the “Insert” key on your keyboard, the console screen will slide out from the top. Press the “Insert” key again to close it. This key is located just above the “Del” key on your keyboard, as shown in the screenshot below.

If you don’t want to be attacked while playing the game, it’s a good idea to press the “Esc” key to enter pause mode. A window with small letters like the screenshot below will pop up.

💖God Mode

If you type “god” in the console window and press ENTER, you will see “godmode ON”.

💖Infinite Ammo (g_infiniteammo)

✅ Check the status

If you type “g_infiniteammo” in the console window and press ENTER, “g_infiniteammo” is : “0” default : “0” will appear.

You can see that “g_infiniteammo” is 0, and the default value is 0.”

How to check infinite bullet status in The Evil Within

♾️ Turn on Infinite Bullets

If you type “g_infiniteammo 1” in the console window and press ENTER, all bullets will become infinite.

⏳ Time Stop / Resume

Enter “G_stoptime 1” in the console and press ENTER to stop time. Enter “G_stoptime 0” and press ENTER to resume time.

📽️ Free Camera

Enter “Toggledebugcamera” in the console to freely explore the stage using the keys that control Sebastian. This mode allows you to move the camera independently of Sebastian. Pressing the E key during movement will teleport Sebastian to that position.

Be aware that moving Sebastian in this way may cause issues with game progression, and the lighting and color of the surrounding environment may change. Enter “Toggledebugcamera” in the console again to return to the original state.

🚫Full screen issue not resolved

Full screen mode does not work. Recently, full screen is possible in Starfield, but the resolution is always set to the maximum size of 4K, and when set to 2560x1440, it changes back to 4K. When I contact customer support, they only give ridiculous answers such as “Reinstall the graphics driver”, “Reinstall Steam”, “Log out of your Windows account”, and even “Reinstall Windows”, and they say that it is absolutely not Bethesda’s problem, but it turns out that it is a chronic problem with Bethesda games.

Because out of the 500+ other games on my Steam account, every single one except Bethesda games plays in full screen mode without any issues.

This company’s development team does not properly set the resolution of Windows. Even “The evil within” released in 2014 does not set the resolution properly.

I was able to fix this issue with Windows “Troubleshoot compatibility issues”, but a recent Windows update changed this part and it didn’t work right away. I asked Windows for feedback to figure out what’s going on and fix it. I’ll update this article with a separate solution once it’s updated to allow you to change the relevant settings.
