You can catch fish by looking at them individually through a hand-made window, or Kelvin catches them well.
Now, if you order Kelvin to catch fish, he will catch up to 3 fish.
You can hunt animals with a bow or gun, but there’s no reason to waste precious bullets.
🏹My own way of hunting
Virginia’s favorite food, cannibal legs, will naturally dry out if left on the drying rack for too long. She doesn’t eat dried legs, so when you roasts them, the bones come out, and Seagulls flock to the burning legs.
In this situation, if you attack a flying seagull with a machete, you can get raw meat and feathers.
After the May 2024 update, feathers can be obtained randomly when hunting birds or collecting raw meat.
After the 1.0 update, when you hang raw meat or raw fish on the drying rack, seagulls come frequently and eagles fly infrequently. An eagle cannot be killed by a single hit from a machete. Do not hit seagulls flying toward the drying rack with a machete or axe. If you do that, the drying rack will break.
After the 1.0 update, the place where the drying rack is installed is the beach, and when you hang raw meat or fish on the drying rack, seagulls often come and eagles sometimes come.
An eagle cannot be killed by a single hit from a machete. Do not hit seagulls flying toward the drying rack with a machete or axe. If you do that, the drying rack will break.
Instead, it doesn’t break when you shoot it.
If you have enough bullets, you can catch birds gathered on the drying rack for shooting practice. However, when cleaning up fallen birds, if the drying rack is next to the wall, you will be caught between the wall and the drying rack, making it difficult to get out.
This situation can be used as a trap to trap Virginia between the drying rack and the wall. A detailed explanation will be provided later in “🩰Some ways to get to know Virginia②”.
🪤Trap:
If you see fish near your house or in a place you frequent, you can easily catch two of them a day by setting a trap. However, if you set a trap in a place where small animals or fish have never been seen, nothing will be caught.
🐟Fish
Make a trap where the fish move around, as shown on the right below.
One trap can catch two fish per day. Two is enough. It’s been a while since I went somewhere and it was full. In the past, it would have rotted if left in this state, but after the patch, it was fixed to a living state.
🐿️Squirrel
If you set up a trap where squirrels usually roam, you can catch them all. However, if you set a trap where Virginia roams, Virginia will kill any squirrel that tries to enter the trap. And sometimes Virginia catches these squirrels and eats them.
🪶Feather
You can build a birdhouse anywhere outdoors. Each birdhouse accumulates 5 feathers per day, up to a maximum of 5.
🛡️Armor:
Armor types include Leaf, Hide, Bone, Creepy, Tech, Solafite, and Golden Armor.
🍂Leaf Armor (Cloth + 10 Leaves)
They say the leaf armor has a camouflage effect… This island isn’t small enough to sneak around, it’s big and there are a lot of places to go… I don’t like it. First, you can wander through the forest and chop down small plants with an ax or machete to add leaves to your inventory, increase your health, and get seeds from berries.
🦌Hide Armor (Cloth + 2 Animal Hides)
Hide armor is a bit stronger… You have to kill a deer or moose first to remove the skin. You’ll need enough bullets to catch it quickly.
You won’t get enough ammo through normal play. It is less efficient because you have to use cheats to quickly charge up to 1,000 rounds. Another material, cloth, is mainly found in cannibal camps. and Cloth can be obtained by destroying wooden boxes in the cave.
Cannibal camps must be looted periodically. Animal hide is not easy to find.
☠️Bone Armor (Duct Tape + 4 Bones + Rope)
Bone armor is very useful when fully armed and even in caves. If you catch a cannibal and burn it, you will get bones, and there are places where bones are piled up throughout the cave, so it is relatively easy to get them.
The remaining materials are rope and duct tape.
Rope can be found in various places in the cave, such as wooden crates, cannibal camps, and caves, while duct tape is hidden in various places, such as bunkers and containers. It may be difficult to obtain at first, but it will be plentiful later.
In terms of cost-effectiveness, bone armor is relatively easy to obtain and provides good protection.
And in the final bunker, you can place Bone Armor in a device that converts Ancient Armor into Golden Armor to create Solafite Armor.
😈Creepy Armor
After defeating mutants such as Fingers, Twins, Caterpillar, Legsy, Holey, Armsy, Creepy Virginia, and Demon take off their skin and the skin becomes Creepy Armor.

It’s useful until you make Solafite Armor, but Creepy Armor is better than Tech Armor and the hassle of making it makes it less effective.

☠️Snowberry native location
There are three places that ZaFrostPet tells you about in the video below.
In the video, one is near the river between the shovel cave and the residential bunker, another is near the small cave where the glider launcher blueprints are, and the third is near the last bunker.
At the beginning of the game, there are snowberries everywhere, including the one on the road Virginia is running away from, and when you walk in the forest together after becoming friends with Virginia, the tree from which Virginia picks fruit is a snowberry tree.
These characteristics of Virginia can be changed at the whim of developers.
Before the release of 1.0, the target was twin berry, and after the release of 1.0, it was snowberry, and until early May 2024, it was non-poisonous berry, but it was changed back to snowberry in the update on May 14th.
🪴Snowberry cultivation
I am growing snow berries because I thought it would be better to grow them rather than going out to pick them, which are hard to find. It takes about 3 days to fully grow. Unfortunately, amanita mushrooms cannot be cultivated.
To collect seeds, simply climb up the flower bed and swing a machete or axe. If you crouch, the flower bed will also break.

I tested it with Virginia, which gets angry for a long time when attacked. If she gets hit once, she ignores it and runs away, if she gets hit twice, she pretends to be sick, and if she gets hit three times, she collapses. And if you heal Virginia, she’ll run for a while and then get poisoned and fall again.
Effective poison arrows are 3D printed or carbon fiber arrows. But if you shoot her Virginia like this, Virginia will run away from you for a long time, and it will take quite a long time to restore her relationship with you.
🔥Fire Arrow (Cloth + Vodka + 4 Arrows you want)
Fire arrows light up dark places… It’s cumbersome because you have to light it on fire every time you fire it, and the only people who suffer from a single fire arrow are cannibals. Other enemies do not react when attacked, making them less effective.
⚡Shock Arrow (2 Batteries + Circuit Board + Wire
+ 4 Arrows you want)
When enemies are hit by a shock arrow, they will be electrocuted and fall down for a moment before standing up. 3D printed or carbon fiber arrows are effective against mutations. These arrows won’t defeat mutants, but they will stop them from chasing you for a while. However, it is difficult to gather materials.
💥Explosive Arrow (2 Batteries + C4 Brick + Circuit Board + Wire + Arrows you want)
Although it is weaker than grenades or sticky bombs, it has a long range in caves, making it effective when defeating Finger, Twins, Caterpillar, Legsy, Holey, Armsy, Creepy Virginia, and Demon.
However, the disadvantage is that the Creepy Armor cannot be obtained because the mutant is torn into pieces. And it explodes about 2–3 seconds after shootting.
It is effective to shoot when the Demon is clearly in a position where it cannot climb, but if you shoot when the Demon is approaching, it explodes right in front of you.
🛒How to remove arrows easily
In the game, you can carry enemies by lifting them up and tossing them aside. Then, a large number of arrows fall where the enemy was. Now you can just pick it up arrows.
🍖+🦵Virginia
If a cannibal attacks, cut off its legs if possible and hang them on a drying rack. Gulls, eagles, Virginia and Kelvin are often come here. Virginia eats the cannibal’s leg in two parts while it is hanging on a drying rack.
In the update on May 14, 2024, “Ai characters can now eat dropped meat pickups”… If Virginia has raw leg or meat, she eats the raw meat first. Raw meat is removed one at a time. she eats about 3–4 a day until it gets dark… When you try to make some dried meat to stock up before going to the cave, Virginia will eat it all if you’re not careful. Wow~~
Even virginia eats raw meat while grilling it before fully cooking it.
If you set up a trap like the one above near your house, it will approach, step back, and then do ballet-like movements like the one below! Virginia, a three-legged mutant who is the strange ideal type of the Endnight developers, often visits.

But then Virginia get the Zoomies.
This monster does this for one of two reasons:
It gallops like this when it approaches you, when it goes for the meat.
She walks toward the drying rack, staring at the raw meat. Sometimes she’s toddling.
Then she approached the drying rack and gulped down the raw meat. And she goes to wash up, her face covered in blood.
If you want to get to know Virginia quickly, you can cut up some raw meat or cannibal legs and hang them on a drying rack.
And if you grow snowberries in a house built next to the sea, even if Virginia can’t enter the house, she can harvest snowberries just by pretending to pick berries on the beach, as shown in the screenshot below.
