đ©°Some ways to get to know Virginia1ïžâŁ | Sons of the Forest
Iâll introduce you to the important elements of getting to know Virginia, where she stays, why she goes somewhere and doesnât come back, and two unusual ways to get to know her quickly.
â» The content below includes bizarre gameplay content, such as an extremely disgusting act of cannibalism, stalking Virginia while she is bathing under a waterfall, trapping the mutant monster Virginia and staring at her, and chasing Virginia around for about 20 minutes. Included. If you donât want to see these things, donât read this.
Also, the information below is just my own strategy because getting to know the character Virginia is one of the important factors in the game âSons of the Forestâ, and it is absolutely not something that men can do to women in real life. This is a game.
Please keep that in mind.

đ§Important Elements
đLook, what youâre looking at Virginia
The distance between you and virginia is important.
If you look at Virginia from a certain distance,
When the distance between you and Virginia is about 2 yards,
Virginiaâs sentiment value increase by 0.1 every 6 seconds.
When the distance between you and Virginia is about 2 to 4 yards,
it increases by 0.1 every 12 seconds.
The exact distance is 0~2m for the short distance and 2~4m for the far distance. When building a 1x1 structure with logs in this game, you can think of the horizontal or vertical length as 1m.
2 meters is approximately 2.2 yards (2.18723 yards).
The meter unit is the basic unit used when developing game or simulation content.
The above emotional changes are the same for Kelvin, but Kelvinâs behavior rarely changes whether his emotional level goes up or down, so you donât have to worry about it.
However, if you attack Kelvin more than once and you are armed, he will just shake his head and run away for a moment.
đ©±Where Virginia mostly stays
The hint is a swimsuit. And among Virginiaâs behavior patterns, there is a behavior pattern of going to the waterfall periodically because of âWash in a waterfall,â and in most cases, it is one of two ways: waterfall 1ïžâŁ in the early game and waterfall 2ïžâŁ in the middle.
And if you donât change Virginiaâs clothes or prepare food for her during the game, she will go to a waterfall far away from you.
The location of 1ïžâŁ is where the Virginias that were originally in the game or the newly created Virginias are at the beginning, and the location of 2ïžâŁ is where the Virginias who ran away from you, whose goal is to bathe in the waterfall, or the Virginias who ran away after being attacked, are mainly located in this location.
If the developers see this post, I will change it again! I thought, âThen I will check and update.â But then I looked into it and found out that the name of location 1ïžâŁ is âVirginia Fallsâ!
These days, itâs a trend to keep changing the settings or scenarios after releasing a game, so I have to check and edit this post when an update comes out, so please let me know if my post is different from the game youâre playing. I will check and update any changes.
Enter the following into the console command and press the Enter key to move to the waterfall in location 1ïžâŁ.
goto VirginiaFallsâ
đVirginia goes somewhere and doesnât come back
đReason: This lady insists she has to take her baths in the waterfall.
So if Virginia goes to wash in the waterfall and youâre not around her, she doesnât care at all. When it comes time for her to regularly give gifts, she begins to slowly move to bring themâŠ
In this case, when attacked by cannibals, she falls into a helpless state, holding food, stick, or stones. The only time Virginia moves quickly while bringing your gifts is when she âZoomiesâ when you are on the other side of the valley.
In this case, Virginia may be standing on a high mountain, or we may be stuck in the middle of a steep slope that we cannot climb.
Itâs not a perfect solution, but in this case, if you pitch a tent and light a campfire in a nearby location out of Virginiaâs sight, she may be right next to you when you wake up. She might be sleeping next to you, holding a fish.
The developers havenât properly fixed this âlagâ yet.
One of the reasons this developer canât reliably solve the problem isâŠ
We tend to only fix bugs that we report to them, and we tend to design characters and features without considering the surrounding context when creating them.
They only resolve complaints when they are received by customers. Due to this development method, optimization is not achieved, problems that were previously solved frequently arise, and numerous trials and errors are repeated.
âIt doesnât matter whether you are armed or not
This is one of the most misunderstood pieces of information.
At first I mistakenly assumed that the reason she was avoiding me was because âIâm armed,â but what mattered was the distance between us and Virginia and the behavioral patterns programmed into the game.
If you run the âaishowthoughts onâ command using the console command, you can check what Virginia is doing as shown below.
First of all, Virginia calls us LocalPlayer or Player.
5m (meters) is approximately 5.46 yards. (about 5 1/2 yards)
The above situations are three designated behavioral patterns that Virginia adopts when she is not your friend and when she is close to you. The distance criteria are simply my guess.
If the distance from Virginia is less than 5m,
âLocalPlayer is too closeâ
In situations like the above, she backs off or runs away.
When the distance is 5~10m,
âflank to view playerâ
The act of secretly looking at an object of interest
âMove away from playerâ
She may toddle or run slowly. If you attack Virginia at this time, she will run away at full speed.
đHow to quickly become friends with Virginia in an unusual way
đŠ”Trap +đȘ”Prison for Virginia
The one I created in the screenshot below is Trap+Prison for Virginia. The surrounding area is shallow sea, there is a path leading to the beach, and as shown in the photo below, there is a âraw legâ hanging on a drying rack in the innermost part.
Next I added Virginia using the âaddcharacter virginiaâ command, and when she started eating the raw leg, I quickly ran over and shocked her with the stun gun.
Due to the May 14, 2024 update, if you point a gun at Virginia, after about 12 seconds, she will look upward instead of at you and start running away.
Even when she runs in place towards the wall, she changes her direction frequently and eventually runs away. Thatâs why I used the stun gun on her to electrocute her and then locked her up.
đLook at it for about 16 min and 12 sec
Until shortly after version 1.0 of the game was released, it was possible at around 8 minutes and 20 seconds, but after I made a YouTube video showing that this was possible, it was changed to 16 minutes and 12 seconds.
If you look at the time, it seems to be about 15 minutes and 6 seconds.
However, it usually takes about 1 to 2 minutes to create a situation where you can keep looking at Virginia. Additionally, shocking her with the stun gun takes the same amount of time as above and reduces her sentiment for you by 1.
Anyway, keep looking at her in front of you and a bag icon will appear when her sentiment level reaches 15.1. At this time you give Virginia a GPS locator and you can check Virginiaâs location on your GPS device. The achievement âEVERY MOVE YOU MAKEâ is also achieved.
When you give her the GPS locator, you can change the icon by hovering your mouse cursor over the icon and right-clicking. When you left click on it you will give her a GPS locator. Click this again to get your GPS back. The same goes for weapons.
However, if there is a silencer or flashlight attachment attached to the weapon, all attachments will disappear the moment you give it to Virginia, so please dismantle all attachments.
đ¶Chasing Virginia (about 25 min)
When you play a new game on Normal difficulty, you can initially pick up items and GPS in places marked with an orange GPS.
If you want to recharge your stamina in between your pursuit of Virginia, visit a camp with a modern axe and collect them all.
When we moved to the habitat (where Virginia is staying in the above), it was as expected!!! Virginia is taking a step back.
At first, keep a certain distance and get closer to secure the score. When Virginia does her ballet moves, stop and just watch. After performing ballet, her sentimnet score increases by +2. If you watch the ballet without moving at all, you get +3.
If you wander around the field and encounter Virginia without using the cheat code to move to Virginia Falls, you will receive an additional +2 emotional score. While Virginia was rubbing her legs, I pressed the ESC key and typed âcheatstickâ.
Even if you donât take that action, you can easily track it by entering the command below to check your score. By entering the âaishowplayerinfluences onâ command, you can also check the change in her sentiment level.
When you are far away, information is displayed up to about 10 meters between Virginia and you. Turn it on to move while looking at the status display in case you miss it or when it gets dark.
If you donât want it to go dark, enter the command âlocktimeofday onâ and the game time will stop. Conversely, if you type the command âlocktimeofday offâ, time will start flowing again. This command is helpful for leveling up your strength while picking up without increasing your survival time.
Additionally, when using this command, your saturation and thirst maximums do not decrease while time is frozen.
She runs slowly, toddling at first. Her sentiment level was around 5.5 when she sprinted to the high ground. Virginia hates highlands.
No matter how much I interact with her, the one place Virginia doesnât keep up is her high ground.
Anyway, if you chase after her and get far enough that you canât see the status bar, if you run straight ahead, she will stop and massage her legs.
When the cannibals appear, she gestures for them to chase them away. In this case, watching her will increase her sentiment score. At this time, if you follow cannibals, she will run away.
She keeps climbing to higher ground, but just when you start to wonder why on earth sheâs heading into that cold, she comes back down.
When she comes down, her sentiment level is 6.3.
She runs and stops when her sentiment level reaches 7.1, 7.3, 7.5, 7.6 and 7.7, as shown below. Even though there is nothing around her, she keeps doing this over and over again.
Virginia stops because of a nearby cannibal and makes a âPlease defeat themâ gesture (her Sentiment: 8.8). Then, instead of running away, she hesitates and takes a few steps back (her Sentiment: 9.5).
If you run out of stamina after running for a while, drink an energy drink.
If you repeat the above situation about 3 times, Kelvin will interfere with your path.
When her sentiment level is around 12, she sprints away and disappears from sight. Itâs difficult to chase Virginia as she sprints at full speed in the dark of night with strength level 1, but if you canât see Virginia, just keep going straight.
If you cannot find Virginia even after running for more than 10 seconds, you must go to Virginia Falls.
Luckily, thanks to the cannibal, she stopped and made a âDefeat themâ gesture.
When her sentiment level reaches 14.1 and 14.2, she stops and runs again. When this happens, she stops, looks back at you, and starts running slowly again with her toddle.
I canât believe they programmed a womanâs coyness like this!!!
When her sentiment level reaches 14.4, she deliberately takes a slow swim to get to 14.5.
When her sentiment level reaches 14.7, 14.9 and 15.0, she stops and runs again. Finally, her sentiment level reached 15.1, and I completed getting to know Virginia. When the value reaches 15.1, there is a delay of about 3 seconds.
The bag icon appeared after 13 hours and 20 minutes of game time, or about 25 minutes of actual time. If you get bored during the chase, you can press the ESC key and take a break.
If you lose track, go back near Virginia Falls. She returns to the area marked by the yellow line below. If you havenât seen her do ballet when tracking, when her emotion level gets to around 13, pause for a moment and follow her, she will do one ballet and immediately her sentiment level will be over 15.1.
Virginia a must return near Virginia Falls
She sometimes comes to area 2 as well.
